Dharma Heart Zen sangha is in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. After a committed time of practice in relationship and study with the guiding teacher, and with the sangha, a practitioner may decide to enter taking formal vows that is enacted in the yearly Bodhisattva Precept Ceremony.
